Program Philosophy

As the world embraces the Information Age, Thailand has become a key production hub for foreign investments in industries like agro-industrial, automotive, and electronics. This international integration demands graduates who are proficient in English and have a global outlook. This has driven the rise of international programs in Thai higher education, particularly in communication, where there is growing potential for exporting communication products. In response, communication graduates must not only possess language proficiency but also strong ethical standards, competitiveness, and the ability to work in international settings.
To meet this need, the Faculty of Communication Arts at Chulalongkorn University has developed a new international program in communication management. As Thailand's oldest and most prestigious institution transitions into an autonomous university, this program is designed to prepare graduates to manage information and communication effectively in an international, media-driven environment, all while upholding ethical integrity. The program reflects the Faculty’s commitment to becoming a leading academic resource in the rapidly evolving global field of communication.
Program Objectives

  • To produce graduates who are knowledgeable in the subjects taught, have good conscience and are able to communicate in English well.
  • To produce graduates who are highly skilled in managing mass communication and other communication-related matters and have a good understanding of information policy, both at national and international levels.
